Our Philosophy
Quiet confidence, science and empathy.
Feeding is not just a skill — it’s a relationship.
We integrate current lactation science with emotional support and embodied experience, respecting both the evidence and your story. Whether your last experience brought joy or heartbreak, we begin from a place of listening and validation.
When your feelings are acknowledged and your body is prepared, your baby can thrive — even when things don’t go as planned.
Why Prepare Before Birth?
Many families are surprised to learn how labor interventions, cesarean birth, or early separation can affect a baby’s instinct to latch and a parent’s milk supply. These are not reasons to worry — they are opportunities to plan.
Who We Support
Every story is welcome here. Every feeling is valid.
• First-time parents who want to start strong
• Multiparous families seeking a calmer experience
• Parents navigating anxiety or past birth trauma
• Families sorting through confusing advice
• Anyone wanting to protect milk supply and confidence
How We Work Together In-Person:
Prenatal Group Format – Learn about birth and feeding foundations with hands-on practice, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and IBCLC. Small groups offer shared learning, emotional validation, and real-world practice, so parents leave feeling both confident and connected.
Individually Customized Planning Session – Leave with a personalized roadmap for including positioning, latch, early feeding cues, and mental well-being strategies based on your specific clinical situation and state of being.
